The Hydraflot
A full model of the Hydraflot / Hydrafloat from Amerzone: The Explorer's Legacy, also known as l'Amerzone.
Amerzone was comic author Benoît Sokal's first video game. He went on to create the highly successful Syberia series, and sadly passed away in May 2021. In 2024, a remake of the game will be published by Microids.
Two versions of the Hydraflot are included in the files: one fully assembled (for reference), and one divided into 10 parts optimized for 3D printing. There is also an optional file, the 'support block', which can help you align the feet of the craft when you're gluing the parts together.
Printing tips
- No supports needed, though a brim can be useful for the feet.
- Use a 0.4mm head or smaller.
Assembly tip
- Put the Beam Left + Rocket Left Half + Rocket Right Half + Beam Right assembly together before gluing it to the main craft.
