This Youtube video ( https://youtu.be/1yYIt5xWu_I?si=V3c7NlCtW7rsGhpe )explains how to make a nice aluminum mount from a Razor Brand Scooter and Scotty mount for fish finders. I didn't want to mess up the original male end of the Scotty mount so I made this one. It fits perfectly in the hexagon on the bottom of the Scotty mount 0367 ( https://www.amazon.com/Scotty-0367-Universal-Fishfinder-9-Inch/dp/B088C4GCL1 ), has the notch for the clamp, is the right height for the included bolt length and is very snug once clamped. I made it just a little longer than the original male end, but I am uploading a V2 that is 6 inches long for extra security. You would just need a really long hex key if you use the original hardware.
