Summary

The missus wanted more cupholders in our 2022 Hyundai Ioniq 5, so what does a person with a 3D printer do...?

This took longer than I care to admit to design, but I'm quite proud of how it turned out. The design is reversible - but I designed it to face forwards (since facing "backwards" will block the USB slots completely). It's extremely sturdy, and even full 1L waterbottles cannot cause it to shift or work loose.

Fusion file included with individual components, in case you want to design a different cup insert. The "profile" part fits exactly in the "front facing" direction (trust me, I ran a dozen iterations of fit-test samples!). Facing backwards, there's a bit more gap, but it's still sturdy.

Prints top down, shouldn't need any supports, but my Ender suffered on the inside/bottom (so I quickly designed a "plate" for the bottom that fits snuggly, and cleans up the finish from the droopy lines).

Recommend 0.28 or 0.32 layer heights for this chonker. With 12% cubic infill it still uses a good 450g of filament.
