Summary

Moonlander Red Key Replacement

I wanted a cap that was easier to reach with my thumb. I took inspiration from a existing cap. In the end the cap is still bit hard to reach with the thumb, but feels more usable.

Scad file included if you need to do adjustments to the design or want to remix this!

Moonlander 16

This cap has the settings for 16mm height and -20 degree angle on scad. I found that this key size was good for me. It is higher than the rest of the keys on the thumbcluster.

Moonlander 11

This cap should be roughly the same height as the other buttons on the moonlander, but has the same lean as 16. Note I have not printed this and cannot verify if the measurements are correct.

Moonlander flat

The flat file is a replacement for the original keycap. I have not printed this and cannot verify if the measurements are 100% correct.

Extrusion multiplier might need to be adjusted as the stem is slightly hard to get right. If the cap comes off too easily try increasing the extrusion multiplier slightly!
