Summary

Before I had my waterfall blow up I got my Spa jets fly out because of the same problem: the plastic used can't handle a bit of a chlorine overdose.
(I like to play it safe and rather have a tad more bleach then green algae in my Spa.)
Unfortunately the inner bodies of the jets get so brittle that they disintegrate after a few years..
Tried to copy the jets with the lock tabs build in, but that didn't work, neither in PLA nor PETG, the lock tabs will snap off as soon as you try to insert them into your spa.
After trying all kinds of remedies I came up with these replacement bodies that you can print in PLA for the 5 1/2 inch and 3 1/5 inch jets without the lock tabs to hold them in place.
Separate lock tabs printed from PETG seemed to work great however using PLA only should work too!,
On the 3.5 inch jets you simply clip the lock tabs on from the outside and on the big hurricane jets you click the lock tabs in from the inside for which I designed a locating pin and hole.
Pictures will speak for themselves I am sure.
It's been holding on for a few months now and works perfectly.
I wanted to test this out at least for a few months before I posted it.
It will safe you quite a bit since the new jets are ten times more expensive as printing them yourself.
Print the jets upside down with supports on the base plate.
The lock-tabs need to be printed with solid infill layers or else they will not be strong enough.
No supports needed for the lock tabs.
Have fun with it, I replaced 14 jets and it saved me $$$ big-time!
PLA is not as bad as some people say or claim it is, it holds up very well to bleach, way better then the original plastics used in my spa as it seems and does well at 104 degrees F.
