Summary

Wimos D1 Mini mounting block for direct wire connections. The center cavity is for placement of resistors or small components to protect them. The holes are 4mm in CAD, (3.5mm real world) perfect for 3mm screw, (#6 imperial). The tracks in the sides and bottom allow for wire exit. I left out tracks in the top to avoid interference with the USB port. There is an outline of the D1 Mini embossed in the top to minimize incorrect placement of the board.
Use D1 mini boards that come with the extended headers as these are what is inserted into the top section.

I used ABS with a .6mm nozzle for the shown model, however it should work just as well with any material that isn't conductive.
