Summary

NOTE: This willnotfit theBrevilleEssenza Mini, which has a different front profile.

Our 13 year old(!) DeLonghi Latissma+ finally bit the dust, and we replaced it with a smallerDeLonghi Essenza Mini.

However we quickly discovered that most of our coffee cups were either too tall or too "bowl shaped" to be used with the new machine.

To deal with this I designed a replacement set of parts.

The primary changes are a low profile cup drip tray with a larger base to accommodate taller, wider coffee mugs, and a "bowed in" front profile to allow some of our mugs to be in far enough to go under the outlet spot.

Because the parts have some unavoidable overhangs due to how the original parts are designed to fit into the machine,you will need to enable supportsfor...

Make sure you print theCupDripTrayGrill"upside down" so that the top side is laying on the print bed - the STL version of theCupDripTrayGrillis already in the correct orientation.

I also originally thought that I might need to use ABS because of temperature concerns, but so far the PLA+ holding up just fine.
While designing this I printed a few iterations in draft mode with 0.3mm layers, single walls and only 10% gyroid infill - they seemed to hold up just fine over the course of a few weeks before I printed the final version in black. If you're looking to save some plastic, you might want to give this a try instead.
