Summary

The T7 (2017) Ford ranger XLT has a large 3rd stop light at the back of the cab providing light for the loadbin. If you want to fit some canopies this light is in the way. Some canopy manufacturers sell this blanking plate with their canopies but it is not so easy to get hold of. I have a Beekman (made in Cape Town South Africa) canopy and needed to remove the light on the ranger to fit over the old canopy to the new Ranger. This one print with support and can be messy to clean on the bottom. Recommend you add some sealant / foam tape to keep it watertight. Fits with the original OEM screws. Also recommend you cover with silicone or some paint over the screw to keep it protected.
