Summary

I got tired of buying drinks for my Blazer's passenger floorboard, so I had a guy at work 3D scan my cupholder and I designed an insert that allows it to hold cups.

I believe this console only came in '92-'94 Chevy S10 Blazers & GMC Jimmys, but I may be wrong. If you have one, you know what I mean... a Gatorade bottle is about the only thing it will hold. I wanted a visually appealing solution since my interior is in nice shape, so I designed it to slide into the cupholder and conform fairly closely to the openings. It'll hold two large drink cups over railroad crossings and U-turns, I haven't spilled a single drink since I started using it. I recently expanded the holes a bit to fit soda bottles and yeti tumblers.

I haven't done a test print of the revised version yet, and I'm a bit worried about how little surface area contacts the print bed - print upright with supports (and maybe a brim) and it should come out just fine.

I uploaded a "Trimmed" version which has a slice taken off of the bottom flush with the ears on the sides which adds surface area to the first layer and also shouldn't need any supports. Upon further inspection it seems like it may actually fit better this way, but I haven't tested it yet. I’d recommend trying this version first.

Do not print this in PLA - it will not stand up to high interior temps in the summer. I chose PETG which has worked well, but ABS and ASA should work too.
