Summary

My desk space is quickly running out, even running out of space for my Plex Server laptop & external SSD drive. So I printed some laptop wall brackets by @phiGI here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4594283 but realized I didn't want to stick my SSD behind it (which actually would have worked, it just didn't feel right ;)

So I designed this wall mount specifically to the dimensions of my WD external 'MY PASSPORT' SSD drive so I could mount right next to the wall-mounted laptop.

This has 2 holes in the middle for mounting, otherwise just use some 3M double sided tape and stick it on. Also, this should be easily editable in Blender or whatever to resize the dimensions for whatever SSD you might have.
