Summary

I modified my FLSUN Q5 to use a direct drive extruder.
Now it happens that when the printer homes after a print that the filament is pushed off of the spool sitting on top of the printer. In addition, the filament tends to rub on the printer case.

To solve these problems I made this quick and dirty design.
It attaches to the holes of the original extruder (must remove old extruder and motor) with four M3 bolts and nuts.
The six larger holes accomodate melt-in nuts so the smaller plate can be screwed onto the larger one with six M3 bolts, securely clamping a piece of Capricorn (PTFE) tubing in place to server as a filament guide.
The tubing also prevents the filament from being pushed off of the spool on top of the printer.
