The model is designed to use a TomyTec HM-01 chassis, which can be purchased from online auction websites. Room inside the radiator and cab allow for weight to be added to the model. The two wings on the side of the model (see pictures attached) need to be filed in order to fit inside the body, the chassis can then be glued into place.

The model is slightly over scale for 009, but this isn't an issue with both other manufacturers and ready to run models using a rubber scale too, for example Minitrains locomotives and Peco tipper wagons.

One variant is based upon the Talyllyn Railway "Midlander" as first running on the line, the other is a generic design. Please note this model is a few years old but still holds up well.
