For some patterns I also made machine-ready files (e.g. for lasercutting with a Trotec).

During Fab23, the annual conference of FabLabs, there was several challenges.
The Future Fabrics: weaving textiles into technology challenge team works towards HERITAGE PRESERVATION of textile traditions across Bhutan, starting from Thimphu.
Traditional handlooms, patterns and motifs are slowly becoming forgotten, while still holding an enormous body of knowledge and intangible heritage practices, from knowledge transmission rituals to weaving songs.
