Summary
Interesting interpretation of D20 dice.
Second, more pleasant looking cover pack is now also provided
It has a ratchet-like mechanism. You can press and hold the button that will cause numbers to spin, and right after releasing it - you will get your number from 1 to 20.
Designed for resin 3d printing.
Operating is quite simple, but the model requires some build process (it is showed in the post-printing section)
Feel free to leave your comments or post makes. Work is still in progress, so I would fix some issues that may appear with the design.
Post-Printing
Parts
Besides printing provided models, you also need:
- M3 screw
- 2 bearings with flange (or one bearing and 2 washers) inner diameter is 3 mm and outer is 6 mm.
- Rubber band with max thickness of 3 mm
I have used flat hairband with the diameter of 20 mm. It works great in my case.
But different stiffness can work more suitable for you.
Rubber band need to be stretched using 2 pins at the Back.stl model, and after that the Key.stl inserted.
After that, you can press bearings into the Clock face.stl. and insert it into the key.
Now you can close it by the Front.stl, screw it with the bolt and try the result!
Newer version is made with 4 mm hole, for the M3 threaded insert to be pressed and glued with some superglue.
