Summary

This are tiller Locks for use on a (single handed) sailboat when you need rigging sails or attend to a fouled sail or whatever you have to do. Engage the lock and this will keep the tiller from wandering uncontrolled.

I designed both myself. One is a simple version and the other has a clamp mecanism. Choose what you need!
Designed to work with a 6mm rubber line.

Use the simple one as printed.

On the other one, after printing, you have to heat up the clamp plate on the thinner part with hot air 200 degC and bend it as shown.

Both where testet on an 15ft sailboat an on an Hobbykat catamaran.

The screw on the lever is M4, use a self locking nut. On the bases use 3.5mm screws.

You can also find adapters for round tinner, 34mm diameter.

Printed with 90% infill in ASA-X, with support.
