Summary
My variation of the bolt catch release by Five_Seven, only reusing the piece that slides over the regular AR bolt catch. This redesign works better for me. I was having problems getting the original version to move the bolt catch enough to lock the bolt, as the curved nature of the lever part caused it to hit the lower receiver too early.
Haven't tested long-term durability, but it works fine for now.
