Summary

This cover was designed to increase the difficulty to demount the reolink doorbell.

I personally find it quite uncomfortable to know any person can just demount the security doorbell in a matter of seconds, which is meant to secure the entrance of our most private place, the home. This is why I designed an encloser to house the doorbell. It consists of an outer shell visible to the outside, a back-plate (or some sort of metal band) and a front-plate fixed to the wall.

The shell:

The shell has 6 holes on the backside which are meant to be used with M4 inserts. The hole for the insert is 6,7mm deep and has a diameter of 4,8mm.
(The pictures are from an early version, which only uses 4 screws. I found out that the fitting wasn't quite right on the top and bottom, so I increased the number of screws)

The back-plate:

It can be used to secure the shell with screws. I used metal band, which was stronger than a 3D printed part.

The front-plate:

The front-plate I used, was lasered out of a stainless-steel plate and ordered online. This can be a perfect opportunity to engrave or cut a custom name plate for yourself. Most of the online shops accept a svg file format for example, which can be easily done without any CAD software.
I used two screws going through the wall (with two nuts inside the room) to make it nearly impossible to demount the doorbell and normal ones to secure the edges. (I removed the rubber sealing in the final setup for a better fit in my case)

Material recommendations:

I very explicitly do not recommend using PLA. This mount is most likely used outside where it will be exposed to heat and UV Light. Even if it is installed in the shade, I recommend using PET-G or ABS.

Finishing for a good look:

As you might have thought the picture does not look like a 3D print. I achieved this by simply sanding it down with 80 and 120 grit sandpaper. I closed all holes and steps with a spray filler, which I sanded down again afterwards. Finally, I spray-painted it with generic matt black paint.
