Summary

This is a quick Model of this common Jaycar brand soldering Iron in case someone wants to make anything for it. Made as part of a project I'm in the middle of I figured in case someone else needs a relatively accurate scale Step of the soldering Iron I would upload it here and hopefully to Grab Cad as well. Measurements should be within 2% please notify me if any obvious errors are found so I can work on an updated revision.

I don't know if I would print this unless you're looking for a fit prior to purchasing this Iron.

How I Designed This

Design process.

Each section was measured the value entered into a sketch on the front plane with the center line being a backbone along the entire model continually referenced back to. After each part was measured, sketched and halved it was revolved into the piece as required.
Overlapping parts had previous steps redone as removals or intersections to allow for the individual parts to shine through. This is part of a whole design but thought others may appreciate it before the rest is completed.
