Summary

Filament balance scale to accurately measure remaining filament on spools. Place filament spool to be measured on one end of the balance scale and place a similar empty spool on the other. Add known weight(s) to the empty spool until level. The total weight added to the empty spool equates to the filament remaining. The filament balance scale has a resolution of (likely even less) 10 grams.

The threads were modeled with 0.4 mm clearance and clearance for the rest of the parts is 0.5 mm.
