Summary

I needed a few millimeters of space for accommodating a mini pedal on my Aclam pedalboard. The rails and screw block of the Aclam system are very good but it can take some precious space, especially on the left and right edges. With certain pedals you can simply press it against the slightly raised edge cover rail, but it doesn't work all the time and a good knock while transporting and your pedals are free hanging. So I designed these edge block with the screw under the pedal, meaning for installing and removing you need to remove the pedal. The screws that I had are M6 8mm long countersunk. The nut is low profile (3mm height instead of the usual 5mm) M6 hex.

It is not perfect but does the job, securing pedals, if you do that on both edges, you can reclaim a good 20-25mm (I didn't measure exactly).

I am not sure if I am committing a copyright/License infringement here, this is not my intention ... and since such securing block doesn't exist in Aclam pedalboard accessoires line, I make it available to all. The website of the pedalboard hereunder.

Nothing sepcial regarding printing, I choosed infill of 65% and printed with black standard PLA, the side pad against the bed, for the nut the non shaped side with supports for the hex nut hole. The obvious breaking point in between the side pad holding the pedal and the block sliding in the rail proved not to be fragile at all. What is a bit fragile if you are overtightening the screw is the countersunk part but even if it breaks, usually it is only at one side and the block is still perfectly doing its job.
