Summary
If you own this Ikea parasol (LILLEÖ), the stubs that hold the spines can deteriorate and disintegrate over time, leading to a less than usable parasol because the umbrella spines are no longer constrained in position. This part replaces the stubs and restores the parasol to full functionality.
Simply remove (unpick) the old part, and place this part on and sew it to keep it in place. The part should be printed from Nylon or PETG, and not PLA or ABS as the umbrella is likely to be used outdoors in the Sun/UV.
The parasol will be as good as new.
