Hanger for my Ikea SONOS Symphonisk lamp

I wanted to hang my Ikea SONOS Symphonisk lamp from the ceiling in my kitchen rather than have it taking up space on a counter. Unfortunately it did not have any mounting options, so I designed a hanger that I think fits with the overall design for the lamp with some strain relief etc.

This was then attached to the lamp with 3M VHB double sided tape (Which I let cure for the full 72hours that is recommended.

The sound is actually better since it is almost at eyelevel now. (The only down side is that you can not remotely turn the light on and off remotely (why SONOS???), but this is easily fixed with a smart bulb).

The cable hanger is for taking the cable strain and hanging from the ceiling hook inside the cup. I pushed the cable through the hook twice and wrapped it around.

In Sweden, the ceiling light have special plug sockets so I had to replace the plug on the cable supplied with the lamp anyway, but this has to be done to get the cable through the holes on the hanger, the cup and tee cable hanger anyway.

Note: The original cup to cover the wiring and cable hanger on the ceiling should probably be about 2cm longer, so have a look at Cup v2.stl.

Update: 3M VHB tape did not last. I have now glued the base on with 2 part epoxy and it seems to be holding perfectly minus the ugly black line created by the VHB tape.
