Summary

Created from a desire to hide that pesky power cable when placing my Sonos One on the table behind my sofa, I decided to design a simple yet elegant way to reroute the power cable to come out the front of the speaker rather than the rear.The angle of the bend is such that it does not strain your power cable. Simply rock your speaker on to the base and enjoy! I used black adhesive bumper pads of 0.5" in diameter and 0.15" in height to set into the base and provide a nice nonslip surface without looking like a "floating" base.
