Summary
This power switch safety key was inspired by (though not strictly a remix of) the linked model, which didn't quite fit my model. I tweaked the structure to be a bit longer and tapered, so that it would work on the Central Machinery (Harbor Freight) 44505 benchtop drill press.

I would suggest printing it in the layout of the STL - horizontally, so that the PLA layers are perpendicular to the direction of the stress. This makes the key much less likely to break off in the slot during use.
