Summary

Street lamps of type RSL 1 were common in East Germany (GDR). For round mast shape the standard was TGL 20997-01 from 1973 [1] and catalogue B 7320 PEM [2]. I recognized the octagonal masts of my childhood and after some research in the TT-board (thank you Werner) [4] I finally found and built some of them with octagonal profile in TT (1/120)scale.

The 2K Moxa Lighting GmbH still produces similar lights [3].

Printing

Use the versions 05 or 04. The version 05 has small improvements, but I did this after I printed enough for the next time ...

The version 03 has different connector between mast and head, but maybe you want to do try something different

gray/dark resin for the mast (I printed strait up to get a better shape)
You need to wash out the resin from the hole before curing! I used a syringe with alcohol.

clear resin for the lamp head (I printed head side down for easier cleaning process)

Lighting

The head has a place for a SMD LED size 0805. I soldered the LED between two 0.3mm enamelled copper wire in the direction of the light and glued the back of the LED into the head (see sketches).

I used the version 04 parts for my final prints, some pictures may display my prototype version.

Origin and licensing

I don't want any commercial use of this design and prints. You may use parts and change them to your needs, but please keep it free and non-commercial.

You are free to print my work for your projects, close friends and maybe your model railway club. Please post your makes.
