Summary

This is the AMPB-621 GANYMEDE, a handheld or wrist mounted jackhammer weapons designed and developed by Fe-Matoran craftsman. Originally purposed as a mere construction tool for punching holes in metal and stone* they saw common use in building and demolition. Sadly, many of these devices were left behind when the matoran were threatened by the Brotherhood of Makuta.

However, a few of these tools would somehow find there way into the workshops of the weapon manufactures on Xia and be repurposed into lethal weapons, spiked tips modified to be capable of puncturing reinforced protosteel armor plating and a higher power output. Though it would not have been long before the Dark Hunters would find and purchase some. These refitted weapons of destruction quickly became prized possessions amongst elite Dark Hunters for there rarity and efficiency in combat up close, delivering brutal blows that demolished a Makuta's armor with ease and shattering a kanohi Hau's shield in a single strike from it's propulsion spike.

Some Hunters would modify there Ganymedes to be more dangerous. Removing the safety stopper at the back to convert the weapon into a high speed javelin launcher or replace the tips with explosive heads, poisoned the tips and even fitted them with rahkshi kraata to be more effective against toa

The Pile Bunkers would see use until the end of the Dark Hunter-Brotherhood of Makuta war where a scant few these brutal items remaining intact or not in possession would end up being sold in underground black markets on Sphereus Magna and used by less good willed beings, adding to it's already sinister and terrifying reputation.

Toa do not consider the weapon as amoral as it is just a simple weapon, but it's sheer weight and power make it extremely difficult to use properly without the strength and skill to wield it.

Instructions for preparing and using your Ganymede;

uses a rubber band for it's function, wrap band on back of spike and around hook on the bottom of the model, may require sanding on spike for smooth fit. has a plus rod for it to be held or two pins to be mounted on the wrist.

To use, pull back on the tip until the smooth shaft is fully inside then release, to remove for maintenance, release rubber band and pull spike completely back out from device.

Do not aim for eyes or attempt to use this product on hard surfaces, *this is not a real jackhammer, it will not break rocks it will only break the model's tip, your heart and your eyes if you didn't read the earlier warning.
