It also will work well in other places where you want to keep your phone accessible and away from workspace clutter, such as your desk, workbench, or hobby/craft table. It can work as standalone phone stand, separate from a DMO.

You can get your stuff organized with this flexible, modular, and extendable system. All needed components (e.g., pen holders, bins, phone stands, SD card holders, coin trays, and more) simply fit into a base/holder. Plus, you can modify an existing component or design your own. Everything is standardized to a 1.5-inch (38.5 mm) grid.
