Summary

Welcome to the Discovery Charter School 3d printing challenge.

You must successfully slice and print all 3 of the attached models to complete the challenge. Once you've completed this challenge you can find and print your own models

Do these challenges in order.

Prerequisites:

Have an Astroprint.com account
Have configured a printer and filament profile
Have completed the hands-on printer introduction with your instructor

Challenge 1 – Cali Cat (from @dezign)

Slice and print this model using the following parameters:

Layer Height: 0.3mm
Infill: 20%

Objective: Learn how to slice and successfully print a model in under 1hr

Challenge 2 – Orientation Model

Objective: Find the orientation that allows the model to be printed without unprintable overhangs then print the model

Challenge 3 – 30min Sphere

Objective: enable build plate adhesion and supports to successfully print the model. Adjust settings to be as close to 30 mins print time as possible.
