Summary

This is a screwless mount for a Viessmann Climate Sensor. The sensor is operated with a button cell, so there is no wired power connection. The holder fits the Gira E2 switch range.

Components:

1 Cap -> Gira 026803 (Blindabdeckung mit Tragring weiß)
1 Frame -> Gira 021129 (Rahmen E2 weiß)
12 neodym-magnets (10x2 mm)

The magnets are attached to the two printed parts with superglue. Finally, a cover plate is glued to the front.

The magnets are very strong and the attachment works well. In my setup, the magnetic field has no influence on the electrical function of the sensor.

!!! ATTENTION !!! In my case, the knob which the sensor is clipped to the mount has broken off once. I would recommend using an infill modifier at 100% at this point or printing the entire part solid !!!
