Summary

Have fun with your own Pocket Katana. Practice your sheathing skills during class or a long meeting. No one but you needs to know that you have Anime in your pocket.

This toy has been a big hit with my Nephew and any other kid thats managed to get their hands on one.

This toy was roughly designed off the popular Fidget Sword made by SmileyPrinter

However this design has some drawbacks compared to the original. This design because of its curved nature is really only 1 directional. So you don't get that benefit of flipping the sword over to switch between push or pull on the magnets.

Magnet Orientation and Glueing
Because you can only choose either push or pull, I would suggest push. That way you can push the sword back into the sheath like the button of a pen.

That means orienting the magnets so the same poles are facing each other from the sword to the sheath.

Orient the magnets in the sword in the same direction and the magnets in the sheath in the opposite direction.

I would suggest a thick gel type of glue over a thin super glue as that often holds the magnets better. Thin super glue is fast drying but may not hold the smooth surface of the magnets all that well.

The sheath has a built in channel/shadow line to make gluing the sheath together easier.
