Summary

The Varia VS3 coffee grinder comes with an external power supply brick. As this brick can be annoying I designed a solution in form of this backpack.
This print is snapped onto the grinder's back and the actual power brick is slid in from the top side. Wires can be stripped to the backpack as well optionally to gain even more tidiness in the kitchen.

Printing
I printed the backpack without supports with active fan cooling and very little artifacts. The fit is (in my opinion) perfect and not to tight for the Varia, but a little tight for the power brick to grab it safely. As the contact area to the print bed is small I would recommend using brims, a raft or 3dlac spary.

Print Settings

  • Printer brand:

    AnkerMake

  • Printer:

    AnkerMake M5

  • Rafts:
    No
  • Supports:
    No
  • Resolution:
    0.2mm
  • Infill:
    20%
  • Filament brand:

    Amazon Basic

  • Filament color:

    Black

  • Filament material:

    PLA

  • Notes:

    Brim 7mm
    Top/Bottom: 4 Layers
    Walls: 3
Print time has been 3.5h with 75% Ankermake/Bambulab speeds. For 'classic' printers with ~50mm/s speed around 8h print time is estimated.

PrusaSlicer popped a warning about thin walls. I ignored it and the print came out pretty well.
