Summary
An attempt to do the Ricoh Building in Tokyo
The idea is to print the central cylinder in clear transparent, wrap 2D signs printed in thin or semi-transparent paper around the outside... Inner cylinder can be lit from the inside.
Purchase a piece of 60mm outside diam by 54 inside diam clear acrylic, 150mm long (I found some on eBay).
Slide the inner cylinder inside that, and then carefully use a heat gun to wrap the outer window framing around the outside of the cylinder.
Will it work.. I guess I'll find out in the next couple of weeks !!
