Summary

This is a remix of "Closet Hanger Extension / Kleiderbügel Erweiterung" by mrcsmxms, found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4981580

I changed the shape a little bit using TinkerCAD to allow for plastic clothes hangers to be used. They're slightly thicker than the metal ones, so the hook needed to be widened.

Prints on a Creality Ender 3 V3 SE in 20 minutes or less, depending on choice of infill %. Very simple to slice and print.

Print Settings

  • Printer brand:

    Creality

  • Printer:

    Ender-3 V3 SE

  • Rafts:
    No
  • Supports:
    No
  • Resolution:
    0.2mm
  • Infill:
    10%*
  • Filament brand:

    SAKATA

  • Filament color:

    Fluorescent Orange

  • Filament material:

    PLA

  • Notes:

*: I printed this with "Lines" infill at 7.5%, and the infill strands were so thin as it was printing it looked like it was a test piece for stringing. However, it is still able to hold up as much weight as the plastic hanger above it is willing to allow. So, it's up to you depending on your application how much infill you need, but 10% should be more than strong enough for clothes. If you're the kind to try and save filament, you could probably get away with having it hollow with no infill at all.

TL;DR: 10% infill should be strong enough for clothes
