Summary

Button for the inside door handle of a 1989 Camaro. This is the cover that goes over the upper torx screw in the handle near the lock/unlock button. Works for driver as well as passenger side. It is held in place with friction, so you may need to increase the size slightly depending on how worn the recess is.

Infill could be less, but at 20% it prints in under 10 minutes. I used ABS, but ASA or PP would work equally as well. PETG would also work, though I'm not certain how well it would hold up in extreme temps.

I printed on a raft just to ensure adhesion, but with such a small part it probably isn't necessary.

How I Designed This

I measured the inner diameter, outer diameter and depth with calipers and designed it accordingly in Shapr3D on an iPad Pro. My initial test print was a little small so I increased the diameter by 0.7mm so that it would be a snug fit. The inner recess could be increased in size so that it fits over the head of the torx screw for increased grip, but didn't appear necessary for my needs.

Feel free to remix/adjust however you need. It's a simple part, but it was easier than trying to track down the part online - not to mention a heck of a lot cheaper.
