Summary

A quick mount for the included ruler to the mast of the laser so you can use it as a focus tool but still remove the ruler for off machine work.

There are 3 STL files, two holders and a pointer. The "low profile" holder is to allow the head to move all the way up, it's a little stiffer to install so I found the best configuration is one of each of the brackets, the low profile one on top.

I was looking for a place to store my ruler and also was in need of being able to quickly manipulate my focus to specific mm above or below and figured I would take care of both with this quick little design. I printed two of the holders, one for the top and one for the bottom and a pointer that I fixed to the laser head using 1" square of double back tape. The ruler holders are super easy to take on and off but should produce a repeatable "install" every time you use the ruler detached from the laser.

Quick print, it only took my FLSUN 15 minutes. Depending on your printer you can choose to print the pointer with the pointer and the side of the mounting pad on the bed or with the back of the mounting pad down, they both work from my testing.
