Summary

This is a set of holders for Catan tiles. It has spaces for the terrain tiles and the port tiles. The hex holder is open on the bottom for easy removal. The pieces have a thicker outer edge to hold roads. When in use with tiles the thinner inner edges hold roads because of the tiles on either side.

This set of 3-hex holders can be reconfigured from the base game to the larger board for 5-6 players.

If you are just printing this for the base game, you need:

1 type 0
3 type 1
3 type 2

and they all assemble in an obvious way.

If you are printing the base game and the 6--player expansion, it's a bit trickier:
1 type 0
2 type 1
2 type 2
1 type 3 -- this is almost like type 1, but missing a single thick edge for use in 6-player
1 type 4 -- ditto
2 type 5 -- these are special inner 3-hex holders with no ports
1 type 6 -- a special shim to line up the ports
1 type 7 -- ditto

See the picture for how to assemble these. It's fairly tricky. The numbers of the post its are the type number. They line up the fat outer walls such that everything fits. If assembly jams on you, you probably a piece with a fat inner wall curled inward.

A full print of all pieces is included as all pieces.stl, just so you can see what the whole set looks like, but it's probably not useful for printing as it's way too big.

These are all relatively flat pieces with small foot prints, so I printed them directly without supports or rafts.
