Summary

The original grommet (I have no idea what this thing is actually called) was constructed of two pieces per side that were connected with a screw. My problem with the original part was that the two sides would pull apart slightly, making the whole thing slide down and thus reduce cable tension.

This part solves this issue by only having a single part per side that you then secure with cable ties - looks ugly but works very well.

I designed this for my Cube Aim 2019, but other bikes from Cube or Radon might use the same part. The "tower" that goes into the frame is 29.5mm * 9.5mm and like the original part, the cable housing stops in the grommet and inside the bike frame, it is routed without cable housing.

This part is symmetrical, so it works both on the drive and non-drive side.
