Summary
This part is designed to rest around the current mount used for holding filament and fit inside a filament spool. In case the material on the spool does not spin easily on the mount (such as a cardboard spool against a plastic mount), this allows the spool to spin more freely and prevents extrusion issues caused by the extra resistance.
This model was designed for Artaraxia spools on an Ender 3 V2, but will likely work on many other spools and printers. The design can be easily modified in TInkercad.
