Got the idea for this while playing with Dr Lex's Funny Flexi Octopus - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3531563.

Thought it look great on a wine bottle as a stopper. I realized that I couldn't just add the stopper section without using mile-high rafts or supports under each leg. So I decided to create a stopper in Blender with a thick thread attached, and cut the threads into the Octopus using the Boolean tool. Worked great, but the original fit was WAY too tight. Had to use a larger form (file: oversized thread mold for topper) to Boolean cut the topper, and a slightly thinner threaded stopper (file: stopper with threads). Also added a sharp edge on the tip of the threads in case any strings were generated in printing.

You can use the thread mold to cut anything you'd like to have as a wine topper, and simply thread it on. Change 'em out as desired.
