Summary
This design is a recreation of the stock battery box that was included with RC10 kits. It will fit the stock mounting holes on an RC10 chassis. The front is notched out to allow use of stick battery packs.
Use a 4-40 tap to thread the mounting holes on top and bottom.
I also have a version of this design without the front notch.
You may also want to use my top/strap. It has a modified keyhole to accommodate PLA material being less flexible than the original nylon.

When tapping threads into the mounting holes, clean the cuttings from the tap frequently to avoid clogging the tap and fouling the holes.
