Summary

I needed one of these, so I made one! The large (relatively speaking) splash protection plate is 1.0mm thick, which is actually 0.1mm thicker than the original. But I think that's maybe a little too flexible so I've made a 1.5mm thick plate version as well.

Dimensions taken as best I could from the badly damaged original part.

Printed with natural (untinted) PHA, for temperature resistance and flexibility. The original was flexible at one point, but is very rigid (and a bit brittle) now. The PHA version is more flexible at the moment than the original is at this point in its life.

I currently have the 1.0mm-thick version in my dishwasher and will see how it works. It slotted in and fit well, with plenty of room for 1.5mm or 2mm or really even more thickness on the splash plate, as far as I could see.

You'll want something a little flexible, with at least adequate spanning depending upon the orientation in which you print it. I just printed it flat on on the plate with supports, it worked fine.
