    I used Spiralize Outer Contour property, but thin wall without infill can give more control over print.

Post-Printing

Remove supports and raft

Ordinary process for PLA.

Sandpaper outer surface

Grind a bit to smooth supports and raft leftovers.

How I Designed This

Design is done in Blender

  1. Create Ico Sphere
  2. Add Decimate modifier (optional)
  3. Create dual mech using Tissue Add-on
  4. Add Wireframe modifier
  5. Add Cast modifier
  6. Add Subdivide surface to smooth the mesh (optional)
  7. Fine-tune modifier and export as STL for 3D printing
