This box is in the style of the Schiit Vali 2. The freecad sources are included as well as stls to import into your favorite cad software. It is already designed to match the dimensions of a standard device but dimensions can changed by editing the first sketch in the lid body and the length of the Pad in the same body. Most edits to these should cascade through the rest of the file and scale everything else within reason.
The holes are designed to take m3 threaded inserts and m3 pan head screws. The hole sizes can be edited in the NutInsert sketch under the BaseBox object and the Pocket002 under the Lid body.
Included are stls for blank box/lids, as well as a version that allows an arduino pro micro or a rpi2040 to be mounted inside with the USB port accessible. There is also a lid that can take 6 standard pots. See the deej github page for wiring diagrams.
The lid prints upright with no supports. The box prints with the flat side down also with no supports. Please excuse the quality of the example print it was a bad roll of PETG and a very large nozzle.
I designed this using the realthunder branch of freecad if it matters.
