Summary

I came across a neat USB charger that had retractable USB Type C & Lightning cables in addition to full-sized USB A & Type C plugs for using external cables. And I really wanted to find a way to integrate it into the ashtray of the Astra. After almost fully disabling the charger I made a face-plate for it and I'm happy with the results. Mounting was done by the use of some hot glue, has been in the car since November and I haven't noticed any issues yet. In addition to that I made a holder / insert for an additional two USBs ( that are directly connected to my Android multimedia ) But for their installation it is required for the cigarette lighter / nest to be cut off to make room for them.
