Summary

An attachment point for modular arms using a GoPro inspired joint. It's meant to be installed to Kubota's SVL75-3 on the left side of the cabin, over the plate supporting the forward left AC vent. You'll need a 14mm (deepwell) socket.

Upon installation, start each of the 3 bolts by hand. May take some wiggling.

How I Designed This

Measured the distances of the 3 holes centers on the metal backing plate.
Asked ChatGPT to generate an .stl file for a triangle with dimensions of the 3 holes.
Using Blender, put 5.5mm radius cylinders over each corner of that triangle.
Shaped a 4mm thick cube to be the "plate"
Applied a boolean difference modifier for the plate against the 3 cylinders.
Added a torus with 3mm diameter radius and a huge inner radius. Then filled the top and bottom planes of the torus. This will later be the negative space for the SVL's existing plastic bracket of the AC vent.
Cut the joints off existing modular arm files and fused it with the plate.
Applied a boolean difference modifier for the plate against the torus.

An earlier iteration had a 2nd relief cut and extended above the AC mounting bracket. This was subject to a lot of vibration and flimsy. Thus, the mounting point was moved to a more central location between the bolts.
