Summary

Press in (2) skateboard bearings (608RS) on each sides of the tower with a vise. The shaft is a 3" M5 bolt with the head cut off. You'll have to slightly taper the point so the bobbin jams in place. Buy two... and use the first to practice with the taper. ;) I did this with the shaft chucked in a drill on a grindstone.

The magnet is a 32mm neodymium magnet with a hole in the center. Put nuts/washers on both sides of the tower. Install a third nut/washer on the backside of the magnet. Glue all these in place with red Threadlocker (Including the magnet to the washer/nut.

The bushing fits over the shaft and contacts the inner bearing runs.

It works great.
