How I Designed This

What I did and why...

I wanted to draw up my own plug saver blanking plate to stop my growing and curious grandson from sticking curious fingers in.

Designed using Fusion360.

I started with a standard UK plug drawing - see attached files.

initially printed as per drawing but the risk of breaking the 3 pins was high, so I reduced the length of all the pins by 5.5 mm.

The blanking plug now fits firmly but not excessively tight - enough to dissaude prying little fingers.
