Summary

•Relocates the filament spool from on top of the printers gantry, to the side of the printer right behind the screen. This mod increases the print quality (less ghosting) at faster speeds due to the reduced gantry wobble from weight of the filament spool on top of the Z-axis of the machine. The 3 other parts are needed to help guide the filament from the spool to the extruder.
•Can be printed all at once.
•NOTE: I've only run the standard 1kg, Overture brand filament (Mainly PETG & PLA) and I designed this to have the filament spool slightly rub on the printers display just enough so the spool will turn, but enough that the spool will not free spool, and accidently unravel the filament causing it to tangle. if you move the mounting holes or drill new ones to the side, you can offset the filament holder enough so the spool won't rub on the screen.
•I used this Filament holder that came with square nuts that can flush mount in from the bottom of the “Ender 3 V3 SE Side Mount Filament Guide Base” part.
