Summary
This is a shade for an LED lightbar, for use within the modular mounting system. It uses my favourite ball mount for the MMS:

The LED is a 12V COB strip. I was using these:

These run HOT. To get around this, and to avoid issues with PLA melting, I did 2 things:
- the strip is isolated from the body of the shade by m2 bolts, with nuts and washers behind each end, and a nut in front so that the bar does not contact the print.
- the LED strip has aluminium heatsinks on the back, to dissipate heat (I used these, cut to width: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001771510487.html )
The design has the potential to be remixed for other sized LEDs.
Best printed with the ball mount upmost, requires support, but gives the cleanest result
