How I Designed This

Main goal was to design easy to use wings mount that allow wings detach in hard crash to not to rip foam body and still hold consoles tight. The design doesn't require deep plane modification and allows to use tape to mount wing part. I like tape because it's easy to fix even in a field.

Assemble

Assembly is quite straightforward, see photos.

Cut small pieces of foam were clip goes through foam body. I aligned horizontal center of the clip with horizontal seam of the fuselage.
Trim edges a little bit of wing plate.
Cut few foam from the wing to prevent mount to stick out.
